Getting The Right Fit

Rumour has it that 80% of women wear the wrong bra size - often a whole size out. This is usually down to the back being too big or the cup being too small. If your bust isn’t supported in the right way, it can lead to back and neck ache, bad posture and even reduce the ‘plumpness’ in your breasts. It also means you’re not showing off your shape to its full potential.

Getting measured professionally means the right bra and right fit can work wonders for the fuller figure and your confidence - it puts your curves back in all the right places totally transforming your silhouette.

Do go for a fitting every 6 months or so – it’s uplifting to learn you’re slimmer round the ribcage and bigger in the bust than you first thought.

Don’t try measuring yourself. It’s difficult to do and there is a chance it won’t be accurate. Instead, visit a trained consultant in a lingerie boutique or department store. Find your nearest stockist here

Once you have figured out your size the next step is getting your bra on correctly. Putting a bra on is as easy as Swoop and Scoop ™.

Simply follow these steps to ensure your bra is a perfect fit.

Firstly, lean forward and allow your breasts to fall into your bra (what we call the swoop) so they sit in place naturally and comfortably. Then fasten the bra on the loosest hook and stand up. Lastly, scoop each breast gently into place in the bra (remember that breast tissue goes all the way to the underarm) to ensure they are comfortably positioned and not caught in the underwire or spilling out of the sides and use your index finger to smooth across the top cup edge to ensure there is no overspill.

And there you have it; it really is as simple as that.
